Secondary papers in each market generally show an opposing alignment to the main paper. That is, if the main newspaper in a market consistently endorses the Democratic candidate, secondary papers in that market will generally endorse Republican candidates. In New York: WSJ does not endorse but leans quite Republican; the Times and Daily News are blue and the Post is red. In DC the Post is consistently blue, the Washington Times consistently red. Unfortunately, the visualization widget won't put the newspaper name in the popup, so you'll have to check the table for names...
