      <content>Martin, I don't think these books are strongly correlated with &quot;normal&quot; taste. :) Best sellers are well-represented, but the long tail (or &quot;big hump&quot; in the histogram below) is solidly in the &quot;people who are on the Internet and likely to use LibraryThing&quot; category, e.g. Tolkein, Wicked, Jonathan Strange &amp; Mr. Norrell, and Neil Gaiman, Ender's Game, etc.

And since everyone else was doing it, I highlighted books I've read.

Note that The Lord of the Rings trilogy appears both as a collection and as separate volumes.  Tolkien would have a much higher standing if these were combined.</content>
