I am interested in this because these Alexanders come from families of my ancestors in Wigtownshire using the traditional Scottish naming system – firstborn male named after paternal grandfather, second after maternal grandfather, third after father etc. A curse and a boon in trying to unravel their relationships to each other!
Even with this very limited data set you can see the pattern of increase and dispersal of Alexanders when presented this way.
I really need more information displayed at the same time though such as their ages to see which generation they belong to.
