I think there seems to be some wrong or missing data in the graphs for Germany East, West, and united. In 1991 the emissions for East and West go down to 0 (which they surely didn’t) while the graph for United Germany starts in 1990 at 0 (which of course it didn’t either – it started at the combined East and West values for 1990). The East and West graphs need to end in 1990 and the united graph needs to start in 1991 or include the combined East West numbers for 1990 or even for all the years before because it’s really hard to compared the graphs this way and see what impact the reunification had on emission (of if even). |
